INTEGRATED SYSTEM...
Some of our customers prefer to have us build and configure their computer system for them. With your choice of fitness management software pre-installed on a Dell™ computer, you can simply take the system out of the box, plug it in, and you’re done. The installed software allows your valid members to access the fitness center 24 hours a day – without increasing payroll costs. In fact, owners of the clubs that we convert actually reduce payroll costs by staffing the facility only during peak traffic hours. Your computer will confirm the validity of each member wishing to access the facility, and will either allow or deny entry based on parameters defined in the software. If you already have compatible software, our access system offers efficient control of your entry door at a very reasonable price. Sophisticated, yet simple-to-use technology lets members swipe a key tag at a weatherized bar code reader outside your club. Once membership is confirmed by your software, our door controller interface unlocks the door for a brief time, allowing entry. If entry is denied, the door remains locked, and the member gets a reason why access was denied based on your software - for instance "membership expired". Surveillance is a high priority in your fitness center, especially during unstaffed hours. Our standard Surveillance System includes 4 color cameras with images recorded on a digital video recorder (DVR). A DVR is similar to a VCR, except that you have instant access to specific times in the recording history. You can view the DVR history on your computer using the network interface. In fact, you can even choose to view your club's video cameras from the World Wide Web with your high-speed internet connection! Many of our customers prefer to upgrade to an 8 camera system. Additional cameras work to eliminate blind spots in your facility.
To deter members from allowing others to "tailgate" into your club behind them, we offer a Tailgate Detection System, which interfaces with your DVR to log the occurrence. At that point, you can even have your DVR e-mail you a picture of the tailgate infraction, or simply review it at your convenience. The TDS, as it is more commonly known, interfaces directly with the door controller that's included with your access system. In fact, Spectrum was the first company in the fitness industry to introduce an access system with tailgate detection compatibility built right in.
